Clear per-server internal licensing with strict non-sharing protection
Every commercial database subscription includes a license for 1 internal backend server by default (+$149/mo per additional server). Databases are strictly for internal organizational use and cannot be shared or sold.
1 internal server included; scale server seats as your infrastructure grows
A commercial ipscope database subscription grants your organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to deploy the compiled .mmdb, .csv.gz, and .parquet artifacts on 1 internal server (seats: 1). If you deploy the database across multiple backend servers or edge instances, license the corresponding number of server seats.
- 1 internal server included: Run unlimited lookups on your licensed server with zero per-query fees.
- Additional internal servers (+$149/mo per server): Add or adjust server seats in the Custom Database Builder or via PATCH /v1/mmdb/licenses/:id.
- Strict non-sharing & non-resale rule: Databases and their raw records may never be shared with third parties, embedded into distributed software/appliances, sublicensed, or resold.
